I'm Muzamil Hussain. I live in Birmingham, UK, where I build the future.
My journey into technology started with pure curiosity and a passion for understanding how systems work. Since 2016, I've been fascinated by the mechanics behind technology, initially learning how systems operated, writing simple Python scripts, and gradually building a foundation that would shape my career.
In 2018, everything changed when a close friend handed me a collection of downloaded HTML lectures. That gesture sparked a self-directed learning journey that became the foundation of everything I do today. With limited resources and English language barriers, I committed to learning CSS and JavaScript through sheer persistence. I invested in Udemy course Full Stack Developer with AI & ML Integration (studying in Hindi/Urdu to break through language limitations), absorbed every concept I could find, and started applying what I learned through real-world projects.
Freelancing became my university. From 2018 to 2020, I took on projects through Fiverr, small websites, custom scripts, e-commerce solutions, each one teaching me something new. Those early clients weren't paying for expertise; they were funding my education. Every project, every bug fix, every late-night debugging session reinforced core principles that still guide my work today.
In 2020, I joined Blinkedge Ltd as a PHP Developer, marking my transition from freelancer to professional engineer. But I never stopped that student mentality. Over the past 5+ years, I've evolved from building static websites to architecting scalable systems that handle hundreds of thousands of daily queries, from solo freelancer to leading technical strategy for startups, from learning in isolation to mentoring others through the same journey I took.
Today, I work with founders and startups at every stage, from first line of code to investor pitch. I've helped teams build products that attracted venture capital, scaled operations across continents, and launched mobile apps to millions. That kid who started with a passion for understanding systems is now helping others build them.
What drives me isn't just building features, it's building products that solve real problems, teaching others that self-education is possible, and proving that passion plus persistence beats traditional gatekeeping every single time.
I contribute to the tech community through open-source work with The Life Welfare Foundation, share insights on Medium and LinkedIn, and actively mentor developers early in their journey, paying forward the support I received when I needed it most.
